This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Corporate Partnerships team at the NGV. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in leading a sponsorship selling team. Strengths in the development of strategic partnerships and selling at a senior level must be supported by relevant tertiary qualifications, an interest in the arts, evidence of a well-established business network in Australia, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the drive to succeed in a challenging, dynamic team environment.

Graphic Designer

A full time position is available to join the National Gallery of Victoria’s Graphic Design team. Applicants require at least five years experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced studio with tight deadlines. The primary focus of this role is to design, plan and manage production of exhibition graphics, publications, promotional material and merchandise. These projects typically include catalogues, collection books, room brochures, invitations, education and public program material, marketing collateral, merchandise and associated exhibition requirements.

Graphic Designer

A full time position is available to join the National Gallery of Victoria’s Graphic Design team. The position will support designers with the general flow of work through the studio and have the opportunity to design small scale publications.

Manager, Risk and Compliance

The National Gallery of Victoria is Australia’s oldest public art gallery and possesses what is generally acknowledged as the most outstanding collection of fine art in the region and one that ranks with major collections throughout the world.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this varied and stimulating new role will manage the NGV’s risk management framework, encouraging understanding and engagement across the NGV, maintaining key risk information and ensuring high quality reporting of risk management performance at a senior level.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and an understanding of business strategy, risk management and organisational culture.
You may also have a good working knowledge of one of: occupational health and safety, business continuity planning, incident management, insurance or internal audit but the successful candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds, as long as they have the right combination of intellect, energy and personality to make the role a success.

Marketing Coordinator

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Australia’s leading visual arts institution, is committed to audience access through public participation, engagement and enjoyment in both our galleries. We are seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to be a part of a dynamic team, eager to fulfil this goal.
In consultation with the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be required to develop strategy and implement promotional plans for free exhibitions at NGV. This will include coordinating and booking relevant media and developing advertising briefs for internal and external production.
A proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines is key, so it’s expected that the successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in an advertising or media environment with exposure to print, electronic, outdoor and direct marketing.
The successful candidate will also be involved in the development of an online media strategy. Therefore, proven knowledge of online including appropriate advertising platforms and an ability to write succinct copy in an online environment is essential.
